Do It Anyway!

I never understood the mentality of do it anyway. See I've always done what I feel. If you don't feel like writing, then don't write. If you don't feel like working out, don't work out. Because if I did work out, if I did write, the output wouldn't be very good. Because I wasn't into it, I would drag my feet through it.

But guess what? I was wrong.

If you want to vastly improve, you have to do it anyway.

Do you want to see real results?

Then Do it anyway.

Do you want to build a habit?

You have to do it anyway.

You have to learn to do "It" in a real and focused way even when you're not in the mood. Even when you're tired. Even when you're sick. Even when there are 100 other things on your mind.

For everything in life consistency is key.

Every morning I wake up at 5:30am. Most of the time I'm dragging my feet. I feel like I'm dying. But I do it. And guess what, today my phone had died and I woke up at 5:30. No alarm. No snooze option. I woke up. Because I was consistent throughout every day, even when I wanted to sleep in. So that the day when I may have done it accidentally, I was wide awake.

We need to treat each goal the same way. To understand that we'll never get there if we do things when we're in the mood. We need to do it every single day and stay focused on what we're supposed to be doing and that way, when the time comes and something goes awry. The habit takes over and it's second nature.

So do it anyway. Lift the weights. Write the chapter. Make those calls. Whatever you believe needs to get done in order for you to achieve your goals. Make sure that you do it. DO IT ANYWAY!
